so little time, so much to do....
It's true that we always wish there is more than 24 hours in one day...But will it really do us good if it happens?? Our life would still be finite. Death is still certain.
I am at a point where i wish there's more time for me to do everything i want to...Yes, so much to learn, so many things to achieve, but it feels like time is limited..
Barakah..that's the concept we should remember...the time that seems little, may in fact be enough for you to get the best that Allah has deemed for you...and may feel very long if we use it wisely..Verily the Hereafter is a better place than life in this world..Every little thing we do must be done with the end in mind (Begin with the end in mind-that's what Stephen Covey said in 7 Habits) and for us Muslims, our end is the Hereafter. Allah has promised us Jannah (heaven) if we were to live and work with Allah in mind, strengthen our iman and taqwa (fear) towards Allah..Jihad (struggle) to uphold islam on this earth.
Most of all, it's not the outcome that matters to Allah..but what matters to Him at the end of the day is how hard we've tried to be a good servant..
there's a saying that goes "it's not the destination but the journey that matters"..applicable here too..(hmm.. it's a wonder how meaningful these English sayings can be if we see them from an islamic point of view)
Sometimes, when i write for this blog i get so much out of my own writing..Alhamdulillah..things get clearer as i type them out..as i ponder upon my own frustrations and ungratefulness..
this blog is a constant reminder to me about life and its ups n downs..
As for my wishing for more time...doesn't really matter, does it? It's how i use it that matters.
although...........................Intention does matter!
~muhasabah always~
