The Need to Love..is it wrong??

Assalamu'alaikum,
Here's an essay i find pretty relevant to most of us. Go ahead, read it..
  • The Need to Love Someone, is that Wrong?

Well, what do you think? To me, it's right in saying that our culture and social customs are actually going against the fact that we all need to love. Thus, people instead turn to nurture their need for love through un-Islamic ways, commonly by becoming a 'couple'..which may then lead to many other ma'siyats..
By right, Islam has provided us an appropriate way to express this need, thru a marriage insyaAllah based on iman to Allah.
I can't deny that our culture and social customs have made such an impact on myself,, that i sometimes feel a bit skeptical when it comes to marriage, and especially when i've witnessed many broken ones in my life..There are just so many issues that are questionable about marriage, that is, if you think about it too much.
Yes, maybe I think about it too much, when i should instead turn to Allah for his help and tawakkal to Him..when i should believe that Allah has His plans for us..the best plans..and we shouldn't worry..Allah promised.."Bad women .are for bad men and bad men are for bad women. Good women are for good men and good men are for good women" (24:26)
And Allah said (i can't remember in which surah) that whoever obeys His orders, for him will Allah provide guidance to the right path..
"And marry those among you who are single...If they be poor, Allah will enrich them out of His bounty." (24:32)

Therefore what's important is for us to take care of our own akhlaq...not to worry about finding a soul-mate...that's taken care of insyaAllah..If our own akhlaq is good, insyaAllah we'll find somebody like that too. What we should worry about is are we prepared enough to be a solehah/soleh wife/husband...and are we well prepared to teach and guide our future children in following the right path of Islam..to build a family based on the Islamic way of life??
The question is, we know Islam provides a right way for us to fulfil our need for love..but is it really our culture that's hindering us from it..or is it just us ignoring it out of our nafs'??
    Wallahu'alam~
